Siege Workshop Definitions
Siege - A siege is a military blockade of a city or fortress with the intent of conquering by attrition or assault. The term derives from sedere, Latin for "to sit". Generally speaking, siege warfare is a form of constant, low-intensity conflict characterized by one party holding a strong, static defensive position. Consequently, an opportunity for negotiation between combatants is not uncommon, as proximity and fluctuating advantage can encourage diplomacy.
Army - An army (from Latin arma "arms, weapons" via Old French armée, "armed"), is a fighting force that fights primarily on land. In the broadest sense, it is the land-based military branch, service branch or armed service of a nation or state.

Proclaim – a. To excitedly, verbosely and candidly describe. b. To announce or declare.
Preach – a. To make a speech about religion in a church or other public place; b. To deliver a sermon; c. To write or speak about (something) in an approving way; d. To say that (something) is good or necessary; e. To write or speak in an annoying way about the right way to behave
Travailed – a. Work especially of a painful or laborious nature : toil
b. A physical or mental exertion or piece of work : task, effort
Declared - a. To make known formally or officially. b. To state emphatically or authoritatively; affirm. c. To reveal or make manifest; show. d. To make a full statement of (dutiable goods, for example).
Enthusiast - One who is filled with enthusiasm; one who is ardently absorbed in an interest or pursuit.
